SphereXP 1.4.10

SphereXP, a Windows application offered by Sphere Inc, aims to answer the question “what do you when you are tired of your classic 2D desktop?” And the question the application has to offer is “you exchange it with a 3D desktop.” SphereXP, which unlike what its name may suggest doesn’t work solely with Windows XP, will replace the boring old 2D desktop in Windows with a new 3D one.

Icons and windows on in SphereXP are displayed inside a sphere as opposed to a flat desktop. When you need access to a window, you can see it right in front of you life you always did. When you no longer need the window, hit Ctrl + W and it will be sent to the sphere. You can arrange windows 360 degrees all around you – you know, as if you were in a sphere, pinning the windows around you.

According to the developer, millions of people have tried SphereXP. Before you go an put this application to the test, there are a few technical details you need to know about. The technical details presented below:

Download – the download weighs in at 7.1MB. If you are on a high-speed internet connection it will only take a moment to get SphereXP off the web and onto your computer. Shouldn’t take long if you are on a less than spectacular internet connection either.
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, SphereXP provides support for the old but popular Windows XP, the much avoided Windows Vista, and the latest and greatest, Windows 7.
Limitations – there are no limitations since SphereXP is freeware. You can use the application free of charge for as long as you want and not part with your hard earned money. Donations are welcome though, so if you like the application, show your support and donate.
